Returns & Refunds Policy

Each piece on NativeMade is handmade by an independent verified Native American artisan. This policy explains when returns are accepted, how to request one, and how refunds are processed.
1. 14-Day Return Window
You may request a return within 14 days of delivery if the item is:
- Damaged in transit,
- Materially different from the listing description or photos, or
- Not delivered (lost in shipping).
2. Final Sale Items
Because every piece is handmade and culturally significant, the following are final sale and not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or not as described:
- Custom or made-to-order work,
- Items marked "Final Sale" on the listing,
- Items showing normal wear after use.
3. How to Request a Return
- Open the order from your Account → Orders page.
- Click "Request return" and choose a reason.
- For damage or "not as described," include photos.
- The seller has 3 business days to respond. NativeMade support will mediate if needed.
4. Shipping Costs
If the return is due to damage, wrong item, or a listing error, the seller covers return shipping. For other approved returns, the buyer covers return shipping. Original shipping fees are non-refundable except in the case of seller error.
5. Refund Processing
Once the seller confirms receipt of the returned item (or the dispute is resolved by NativeMade), refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Stripe and your bank may take additional time to post the refund.
6. Lost or Damaged in Transit
If a package arrives damaged or never arrives, contact the seller within 7 days. NativeMade will mediate and, when appropriate, issue a full refund.
7. Order Cancellations
You may cancel an order for a full refund any time before the seller marks it shipped. Once shipped, the return process above applies.
8. Disputes
If you and the seller cannot reach agreement, contact support@nativemademarket.com and our team will review the case. NativeMade's resolution is final within the marketplace.
